Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Hasn’t run in 10 years.
“1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Hasn’t run for 10+ years, but two-wheel/four-wheel operated fine. Original engine that burns oil. Body and frame fairly solid. Have title. Has nos windshield, new shocks, new tie rod ends. Converted with alternator to 12volt. Have uninstalled 12 volt gas gauge; all other gauges work. Roll bar not bolted in. Some spare parts like a steering gearbox and extra transmission. Buyer will need to tow (towbar provided) or trailer. Cash or national bank money order only. $2,050. As is, where is – no guarantees or refunds.”
It’s a project.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000
(03/04/2014) This wagon was chopped at an angle, giving it an unusual look.
“This wagon has a small block Chevy engine , turbo 400 transmission , CD player , heater works, This Jeep two door has been chopped and has a new mustang 2 front end, good tires and is road ready. This Vehicle runs.
Trades considered- other classic cars or trucks, rat rods, tractors and implements . Ask me if not listed reasonable trade considered.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
Don noted that this was for sale in March and included a plow. The plow has been removed and now the jeep is up for sale again.
This has a newer motor. It runs and drives.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ3B Has 2.3L Ford 4cyl engine swap. Well done swap, runs smooth and is very reliable. Has new plugs, wires, air and oil filters. Engine is mated to the stock 3spd manual tranny and transfer case. Power steering was added as well as a tilt steering column. 4wd works very well and has brand new lockouts.
The entire frame has been boxed and is extremely solid. Entire chassis was painted when disassembled. Has new front and rear leafsprings and hardware. This Jeep is very tight and goes down the road straight. Tires are in excellent shape.
All the gauges work as well as the high/low beam headlights and rear turn signals/brake lights. Has a functioning heater as well as a working windshield wiper

TRANS COOLER MANUAL . IT HAS A SOFT TOP HAS A FULL ROLL CAGE. HAS OFF ROAD LIGHT.S STEROP RADO AND C.B. RADIO CARPET INSIDE FRONT AND REAR OVERHEAD DOOM LIGHT,S HAS BIGGER BRAKES AND HAS MICO LOCK BREAK. PAINT SHOW,S WEAR BUT STILL LOOK,S GOOD. HAS A 8000 LBS WARN WINCH COMES WITH TWO JEEP GAS CAN,S AND A TOW-BAR. HAS SEAT,S THAT CAME OUT OF A 69 FORD MUSTANG THAT ARE LIKE NEW. THERE ARE LOW BACK STYLE.”

Lots and lots of photos.
Jeepers Bar and Grille just opened in Spanaway, Washington (map). For me it is conveniently right on the way to my sister’s house in Roy. So, we’ll be stopping by at some point. Not only does it feature a CJ-3B on the menu and logo, but there are several large vintage jeep photos around the place. My cousin Eric dropped by on Thursday and told me they enjoyed the place.
