you have to find just the right person to sell a hard top to, most people like their soft tops.

Bob: Agreed, but I do have people ask me about hardtops for sale. I know one guy that’s been looking for a CJ-2A half-top in good shape. Based on the email’s I’ve gotten, most people seem to want them for the vintage look rather than the practical day-to-day use.
I bought my first hardtop from Bob then later sold it. Traded for another top when I moved out west. Living in an apartment with on street parking kind of a pain to store the top when Astoria has nice weather. Grateful my work is letting me keep it there. Luckily it has only misted 2 days out of the 2 weeks I have had it off. I will be looking for a soft top though.
Did we miss the part about AMC buying the Buick 225 engine for the 1965 CJ5. Was this a part of Willys history that we didn’t have or just another un-informed seller?? LOL!!!
I am the buyer of this VEC CJ2A. I will be parting this one out.
