Buying Tips
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. GI humor never changes over the generations. I hope that head is still a family treasure somewhere.
I would love to see what kind of bracing they had supporting that .50 cal mounted out on the fender. A center mounted and well braced M2 would tear up a re-enforced M151A2 chassis.
That is a riot. I think the bracing ones out from the frame. It’s actually behind the fender.
My late uncle was all over Europe in the U.S. Army and travelled past Mussolini after he was hung.
