1963 FJ-3A Portland, OR **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FJ • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $5000. **SOLD**

It’s called the “Biff Bus”.

“1963 Jeep Fleet Van FJ3-A. Cute as can be, very rare, and a great conversation piece! Many people have stopped and asked me what kind of vehicle it is! 15 years ago it had a 1973 4 cylinder Pinto 2.0 engine transplant, and in 2007 a professionally rebuilt transmission by Marty’s Transmission of Portland. I have owned it for 28 years and have driven it very little since 2007 and did use it for an ice cream truck for about 7 years, and it has been in several parades. Its size is 12 ft. long, 5 ft. wide, and 7 ft. tall. The reason for selling it is that I have to find a happy new home for my beloved Biff Bus, as it is affectionately called. It has power brakes, an electric cooling fan for the engine, a nice array of marker and clearance lights, and a cassette car stereo. Some things on it that need work are: it needs a new alternator, has a little surface rust on the side and rear doors, and it needs new tags. $5,000 firm and no trades.”

    Hi Tomoya,

The ad has expired on Craigslist, which means the FJ may still be for sale. I have updated the post to reflect this. Should the ad reappear, I’ll email you.

    Hi Veronica,

I’d guess either it sold or the seller reconsidered selling it. I haven’t seen it relisted. These sell quickly. If I do see it again, I’ll drop you an email.

    Hi Todd,

I haven’t seen this FJ for sale since I last posted it. These rarely pop up and when they do they usually sell quickly.

I know where on is in a salvage yard that is pretty solid but is a project if any one is interested. Price might be kinda high as Salvage Yards usually do.
