    The rest looks likes 1951, but wasn’t 1949 the only year of the “Willys-Overland” tailgate script? Nice wagon.

    48-49 on the tailgate script, but the 4 cylinder L-head engine was last used in the wagons with the very early 1950 models that were carried over from 1949. This should have had either the F-head 4 or the Lightning flathead 6. All the exterior sheetmetal appears correct for 1950-51(except the tailgate script), Dashboard, steering wheel is right, two taillights if it was equipped with turn signals originally. 1950 and later normally had the rear bumper surrounds that went forward to the rear wheel openings. Earlier models had the single bumper.
