    That is an amazing picture. The picture was released in Oct. 1941, how would Hollywood be able to get there hands on a prototype. I wonder if this something that movie studio built to replicate a Jeep? I have never heard of this vehicle before, always something new on this site to make you scratch your head!

    Now that you say it, it could be a replication. That would explain its odd look. It’s wheelbase does seem unusually long.

    It’s worth taking a closer look at the over all clip (which I don’t have at the moment). Maybe that will yield insights.

    I found some interesting info on Hemmings’ blog from 2011. According to Robert D. Cunningham, it is a plywood mock-up on a Ford chassis. He states that it still exists in private collectors hands.
