Looks like this may have been one of the rare Willys panel trucks that were factory produced for Civil Defense service. The shadow Search & Rescue lettering also leads me to believe that is the case. The rust on the roof and hood blocks most of it out, but I think I see some blue paint under there. Also it looks as if the spare tire carrier was removed from behind the driver’s door. It’s a shame someone hacked the body.
I’m interested in the heavy duty truck in the background. It took a while for me to realize there’s two cabs on one frame.

I wondered why the green cab looked so odd on the frame. Yeah, that green cab looks like it was dropped on the back of the frame. Odd.
