Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “FOR SALE: 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Clean title. 6 volt flat 4 engine, roll bar, “CJ Whitney Vinyl top” Wind shield folds down or can be tilted out. Gas tank and radiator was purchased in the early 90s. Seats have been recovered. Come with a tow bar and two extra front bumpers. New battery. Engine does roll over. This jeep will need 5 new tires, and certified mechanic to check everything over. This jeep has not seen the road since 1994. An olive drab paint job would make this jeep look awesome. ”

“I am posting for a friend, she can be reached at the phone number provided. All the info I have is, its a 1951 M-38 Willys, has a small block 327 in it i believe. Its painted military green with a star on the hood. It does run and drive. Most questions can be answered only by looking at the vehicle. This was her husbands project and he recently past away. She doesn’t know a ton of specifics, so you should inspect the vehicle yourself. $3900 OBO. Thanks for looking!!”

“1967 Jeep cj6 327 Chevy has warn overdrive Ramsay winch Corvette valve covers. No title, been siting for 5 yrs .”
Running project.
“1952 willys M-38 99% rust free, runs great drives needs front brake work, has new master cylinder, title, dash plate, and have all 5 original wheels and tires, original hood numbers found on hood. Had to put 12 volt items on it to get it running, did valve work and fresh gaskets on motor, did minor work to tranny and transfercase. Have original springs also. One tiny rust area in pass floor, tool box excellent. I have quite a few extra parts as well.”
