    Amazing. Gorgeous paint 🙂
I was going to say it’s sitting too high but noticed it’s still on jack stands. Probably has a better stance with weight on wheels.

This is an excellent use for this! Probably a great vehicle to get kids interested in fire safety. Now all he needs is a dalmatian (and a bikini clad assistant).

    Man, I’m a torn on this one…

That “before” looks like a terrific survivor. Sure appears that it would have cleaned up nice, and been a terrific example of period fire apparatus.

The fire truck bodies, with the various components as flat as they are, look like they’d be relatively easy to simulate. Probably even simpler than even a standard FC pick up body.

I’d be surprised if it’s still sitting on any of the FC frame.

This dude could have found any old FC cab and — with about the same effort — ended up with pretty near the same “after.”

He paid HIS money though, and he built HIS truck.

He’s certainly created a bitchin’ ride, but I fear — in the process — he’s completely exorcised that old hero’s soul.

The hight and wheels are a NO NO for me. Everything else is very nice. Im pretty amazed at the plumbing on the front platform on first pic.

I’d vote to stay with DRW as they were a special breed and very scarce today, especially in fire garb. But It’s not our call, “We Ain’t Got a Nickel in It”.
