Glenn just bought this CJ-3B Fire Jeep. His 2A Fire Jeep has been sold. Derek published Fred Scott’s great write-up of it on the CJ-3B Page.
What a great story over on The CJ3B Page, a very tolerant wife, and a Ventilating windshield, 2nd in two days.
So after speaking with the family I learned that it was the wife that bought the jeep and not Fred it may have something to do with the fact that Freds wife’s name is Vi and the unit number on the jeep starts with vi.
The jeep was passed down to the son and then off to the grandson and that’s who sold it to me. the last time the jeep ran was about 10 years ago and only has 2200 miles on it, I have it in the garage and will start dismantling it over the holidays as this one is going to get a full restoration.
