This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1955 CJ5 Willys Jeep. 4 cylinder F head engine. Added the seats, roll bar, tow bar and tires. Strong original engine so it won’t go over 55 MPH. Good title. New starter.”

“1957 Willys Wagon and 1947 Bantam trailer. Wagon is original survivor with one repaint in 1970’s. 226-6cyl with rare 2bl carb., 80k miles. Many extra parts, 1952 truck frame and complete drive-line\hood, over-drive unit, 2 sets axels, many parts. Known history. $15,750 obo. Nothing sold separately. ”

“1960 Willy’s Jeep Forward Control FC 170 with original Garwood PTO/hydraulic dump bed. 226 flat head 6 cylinder that has a spun rod bearing. Rebuilt T98a 4 speed trans w/new clutch and rebuilt Dana 18 transfer case. 4×4, Dana 44 front and Dana 53 rear axle, 4″ lift springs. Was running and driving 15years ago until rod bearing spun. disabled the bad cylinder and ran it on 5 cylinders for a few years(just to move it around the yard), but now it sits. No time and too many other projects, I know FC’s are rare, this one is one of a couple hundred factory cab and chassis made in 1960. Was a bought new buy Forest Service in Cle Elum. When it was surplus, it was bought by a gold miner that used it on his claim outside of Cle Elum until the late 1990’s. It is ruff, but complete and I need it gone! $2000 OBO. If you want to negotiate the price, then show up with a trailer and cash in your hand and we can talk.”

Runs and drives, but needs work.
“Selling my 1950 Willys Jeep Truck in 3 condition out of 6 based on Old Car Prices Guide. It was painted last year but not by a professional. The gas, temp. Batt. Gauges work. It had a new metal gas tank and new fuel pump. It runs and drives and stops. Not bad for a 50s jeep. Tires are average. 2 wheel drive only about 7000 were made
It comes with a complete 4 wheel drive front end and extra rear end.”
