UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.

I can’t tell if there is more work needed or not, apart from the gas tank, but this could be a good price if it runs and drives.

“CJ5 Willys Jeep. F – head 4 cyl motor,
Body sandblasted and repainted. No body rust. Stored inside for over 20 years
Top like new condition.
Front window good – no cracks
Seats and steering wheel replaced
Roll bar installed
Attachable wishbone for towing
2 mechanics service books

Needs new gas tank.
It runs but if I were to continue with rebuild project, I would rebuild or replace tranny and replace motor”

(07/21/2016) Runs and drives.

“Flathead 4 cylinder (L-series Head) motor. The motor runs great, achieves 40psi oil pressure. New spark plugs, rotor, cap and wires. New starter. Radiator has been flushed. Rebuilt brakes. New front pinon seal, new front drive line U-joints (have receipts from Pete’s 4×4 repair shop in Butte).
New body seal to gas tank. New Tail gate, and front bumper. Tires are 80% new. We have the title.
We bought this jeep in 2007 and have no time to enjoy it anymore. ”

Looks like there’s some value there.

“1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restore… serial number 16837. Frame is in fair condition and has an really nice battery tray. Front and rear axels turn freely and still have the early style scalloped front hub flanges. Early indent style tub is ruff but has many nice parts still on. This jeep has all the tags on it but doesn’t come with a title. There is no engine or transmission/transfer case but I can supply one and most of all the other missing parts if you’d like to restore this jeep.”

(07/25/2016) It’s a project.

“I have a 1943 Ford GPW for sale. Jeep was running but has not been started in a while. I will attempt to start it this coming week. The jeep needs work but most of it is there. Comes with loose parts as well. It appears to be all original including the Ford GPW engine which is normally replaced with a Willys engine. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
