Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rare two wheel drive ,’49 Willys pickup , 4 cyl locked up , trans shift nob says 4speed, as far as I know it’s original beside wheels and paint. I know the owners since 60’s.”

CLEAR TITLE,
Has been partly taken down for body work… my Son was tinkering with it, but it needs alot of work and we don’thave the time.
4 cyl “Go Devil” Engine: Not running… Needs either mechanical work or just replacement. (Allot of folks just swap out the old motors for Chev 350’s)
Has a half Cab: probably a Sears model they were very popular back in the day.

I found this great old mailer on eBay. It was likely published at the end of WWII, as there are no references to the CJ-2A. You can learn more about Hyman Berg here.

The soft top is pretty much useless. Needs a little work but it runs well and sounds amazing.
