Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1962 Willys Jeep Station Wagon 6 cyl Super Hurricane 6-226, 4wd with high/low range, 3 door Original: Turquoise White color combo, interior, extra option factory rear hubs. Car is a monthly driver that starts immediately and accelerates strong. Has been garaged, less than 5,000 miles since brake shoes were changed. Acquired car in 1993 with roughly 56,000 miles. It runs, but no longer has the top, but it does have a standard M-38 windshield. It also includes another M-38 engine.

Motor, transmission, and transfer case all rebuilt few years ago. Warn locking hubs. Jeep was built in Tucson. 10K in receipts. Has 2 sets of wheels and tires, currently with 33×12.50x15s. Clean title, registered and insured. I drive it to work couple times a week. And use it up north for camping and hunting. never abused. only selling because I’m building a toyota pickup. Drain holes have been filled. Not a completely stock engine since it has a newer alternator and looks to be 12 volte.
