About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a ’48 Willys CJ-2A for sale. This is a recent barn find, it does have a PA title.
Runs strong, but still smokes a bit. Brakes need work, I haven’t inspected them. It seems to stop with the LF wheel after adding fluid to master cyl.
Body is typical of an old Jeep, but with way less rot than what you usually find.
Check out the pics and call/text me to come and see it. If this ad is up, I still have it. ”
“This a good, solid, no rust Willys Jeep…I has the original flat 4 that has been overhauled…the transmission is the 3 speed T-90 just rebuilt…brand new brakes and brake lines as well as new exhaust…the rims and tires are brand new super swampers…the interior was new last June…brand new alternator in August…
This is a solid fun vehicle …I will be honest it is not a daily driver has original suspension I added a 2 inch lift…it is great for parades or river running…I is geared super low and impossible to get stuck…I have the windshield as well but it will need new glass.”
“This is a nearly complete and very much original ’51 CJ-3A. The tub is very rough but the frame is solid. L-134 Go-Devil engine has original stamped 3A serial number and is still 6V. It starts and drives easily but has no brakes.
This is no doubt a serious project but if you are looking for a solid restoration platform this a good one.
“This is a heavily modified and lightened 1972 Jeep Commando Racing Jeep. Full roll cage. It had an engine/transmission swap now sporting a LQ4 Chevy V8 Iron block w/ aluminum heads and a 4L80E transmission adapted to the Dana 300 transmission. Engine/transmission/wire harness/Computer came out of a running 2001 Silverado HD 2500 with 80000 miles on it. 4.10 welded differentials. Corvette radiator, fuel cell, exhaust, transmission shield, suspension seat come with the jeep. Need the electrical done, fuel line run, shocks, and tires. I am pretty sure brakes work but have not tested them yet. I was building it up for short track offroad racing (See cc4w.org) but ran out of time and work has gotten too busy for this season and so i bought another racing jeep. Have $6500 into it so far and will finish it if no one offers a reasonable amount. I’ll settle for $5000 to give me garage space and to see it go into another racer’s hands. ”

“This is a cool project jeep. The frame is straight and true. The motor turns freely and the tranny seems to shift correctly.
A lot of time and money already spent on this. The frame was taken to bare metal and coated with POR15 and painted flat black. All complete brake system as been replaced with new part, rubber and lines. The floor board were cut out and new welded in.
“I have a 1960 Jeep FC-150 that I am doing a quick part out on. The cab/doors/bed are all pretty rusted, and windshield and driver’s window are broken, but there are still parts on her that are worth saving including:
axles
door handles
window cranks
glove box
seat frames
sun visors
engine cover
trailer hitch
front bumper
steering wheel
dash
gear shifters
interior trim pieces
Passenger glass, rear glass, both quarter glass
If you need something, give me a call and I can see if it is still there. Unless it is something small, I don’t really have time to remove anything, so it will be on you to get it off/out. But give me a call and we can discuss availability and price.
Right now, the frame, tailgate side emblems and possibly the engine/trans are spoken for, and this weekend I am considering cutting her nose off to keep around the house. In a week or two, what is left will go to the scrap yard.”
“For sale a 1948 Willys CJ2A. This is a project jeep (with matching numbers) that I just have not had time/interest to play with so I am selling it off. The condition is just as the pictures show. The good parts are the new tires and the engine was made running a month ago, replaced the points, plugs, carborator, and was mid-conversion to 12V. Many parts need replacement but there are still some good parts and a CJ-3A frame that is rusty but not rotted can be thrown in the mix. What you see is what you get.”
“1953 high hood; clear Oregon title; project jeep that I lost interest in; rough but fairly complete; price includes $500.00 of new parts including 12 volt hi-torque starter, fuel pump, carb rebuild kit, oil lines; jeep has been disassembled and some parts refurbished.”
