Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I will hate to see her go but I am selling my 1948 Willys CJ2A. This Willys is mostly restored and includes a rebuilt motor, new seats, resurfaced flywheel, new brakes & more. Everything works on this old Jeep. She fires right up even when its cold outside. Still original 6 volt. Has oil bath air filter, etc. I have a new window seal on its way so that will go in as well. “This is a 1959 Willys that is in great shape. It runs great and has had a lot of work done to the motor and electrical by a mechanic. I am selling because I do not have the time to finish the project. Please contact me and we can talk about what has been done to it.”

Has some rust in the floorboards.
“Garage kept, good condition. Runs drives straight, 4wd system works, 3 speed manual. Needs brakes. Minor flaws, windshield crack, minor rust on upper right floor boards. Overall solid jeep. 4 cylinder flat head, cranks every time.”

Pretty much stock otherwise.
It is a roller on stock wheels with bald tires.
