Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/29/2016) This has full floating rear hubs and a PTO. It runs, but clearly needs work. I’ve been reading through a bunch of late 1960s Four Wheeler magazines and I’ve been surprised to see how popular the rear truck-like bumpers were on southwest 1/4 jeeps.

Complete less engine. This is a modified jeep intended for off road use only. Not suitable for street use. Text for current pictures.”
Looks like it has a DJ-3A grille.
“1948 willys cj2a Colorado title & matching dash # plate. Has all matching #. Have all original parts except the 2 seats, muffler, emergency brake cable, & gas cap. Fort Worth Starter & Generator changed starter to 12 v & has alternator. Engine ran well & sounded solid. Started to restore but have to many projects currently.”
