Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 JEEP CJ2A civilian 4X4. Good condition to restore, little rust, light metal damage. No holes cut in dash.Very original. Seat frames without upholstery. Koenig steel top. Koenig pto winch. Free turning six cylinder flathead Studebaker engine, not running. Referbished radiator. 15″ wheels with fair tires. Six original 5″x16″ steel wheels without tires”
