This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a crazy price. That said, it does have a nice example of a Blue Star hardtop and what appear to be late model Free Lock hubs.

“This Jeep is sharp, Buick 350 V-8, Barn doors, 3 speed manual transmission, 4×4. She runs strong and drives nice.
Registered non-op, pink slip in hand, clean title
It’s street legal and ready to come off non-op. NO smog required.
There is some rust on the lower front rocker panels and some surface rust but over all a great looking vehicle.
Interior is not finished. She has lots of new and extra part’s.
True survivor, sound vehicle. Great for a desert project-4wheel drive, or street cruiser. Willy’s the original Jeep!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
It runs, but has several rotted places.
“1952 Willys army military jeep m38a1 in pretty good shape!
Frame is good with no rot at all just rust.
Body is decent with some rot but not horrible.
Engine starts and runs and sounds healthy on a test fuel tank, haven’t tried gassing up the fuel tank in the jeep.
Brakes don’t work at all, clutch is good, emergency brake works.
Goes into gear and moves, transmission is good!
All tires are holding air and actually in pretty good shape!
Doesn’t appear to have ever been plowed with!!!
Let’s be real here, I just don’t have time for another project. This is a good jeep, buy it before someone else’s does!
