Probably Slat-Grill frame. If there was a picture of the rear rubber brake line location, that would really help. If this is #90, that brake line should be coming down on the drivers side of the rear diff and not in the middle of the cross member. But after 75+ years, who knows what it originally came with. Wonder if there was a rebuild tag on the dash at some point??
Fix it, Drive it and have a blast in it.

As Matt stated a slatt grill frame and pretty early but the body is definitely later, so possibly a service rebuilt at some time and then complete power train and engine would be a question as being original to jeep. I would be afraid that a very early frame is all a person would get as compared to an other ww2 jeep. Looks good though and possibly the original service number on the hood as they started with a “W”.

Looks to be serial #103090, an early 42 chassis with a later body. Nonetheless I was able to make a deal with the seller…

    Thanks Ewillys!
