The early trucks have a split seat which both sections hinge in the front. From what I understand, the narrow one goes on the drivers side. But I’ve seen a couple including this one that have the wide seat on the driver’s side. Are these swapped by owner’s? I was doing some research on these. Now for the shameless plug and reason I brought this up. I have two sets for the early (1946 to 1948?) to sell. https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/d/jeep-pickup-front-seat/6724310008.html

Blaine: Nothing shameful in your plug at all 🙂

On my DJ-3A, I wish the 1/3 seat was on the driver’s side. When I sit on the left half of the 2/3 seat my body wants to lean to the right.
