This ad with a CJ-2A sporting a canvas top was published in the November 24, 1946, issue of the Evening Star.
The vintage art work on this advertisement is cool, looks like the pencil sketches I did in 3rd grade, this is a compliment not a criticism to the artist. The one thing I notice is the rounded look to the engine hood, along the grille, a CJ2A is more flat. In the sketch, it gives the appearance of a CJ5. No big deal, just these quirky little things I notice.
I thought it was an interesting illustration, too.
