Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Not sure of the year, but looks pretty early. Wonder why it has a Willys tailgate? As rough as it is, I have no use for it.

It has the Willys tailgate because CJ-5s (and CJ-3Bs and DJ-3As) earlier than 1963 had Willys branded tailgates.
