Interesting setup, somewhat cumbersome, not sure what that line from top of pulley to over the windshield is for. I wonder how many of these units were sold? My guess, not a big seller.

Mike, that line should be the trip line to empty the bucket. Pull back on it and it releases a catch and the weight of the load tips the bucket. Probably the rear weight of the bucket resets it when empty, thus the “automatically swings back to loading position”. Cumbersome, but an inexpensive barnyard or outdoor stall cleaner. Had a similar trip bucket on a 3-pt hitch in back of an 8N tractor. Had a cord you’d pull to empty it and the weight balance empty would reset it.

Yes Barney…….I had a trip loader on my old Case 300 tractor and it worked just as you described. I’m sorry, but when I look at this brochure and setup…..two words come to mind ……Rube Goldberg !
