Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Also, the “OK” gesture back in the 50’s, Ballantine Beer TV advertising, “Make the OK sign for Ballantine”, was a brewery in Newark, NJ. Chevrolet used it for a short time in it’s advertising for OK USED CARS.
