Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Do you ever see anything mentioned about the al- toy Jeep’s in these old Willy’s newspapers?

No I haven’t. However, I don’t have all the old magazines/papers, especially before 1955. The 1955-1957 issues don’t mention them.
