Interesting how this advertisement is shown with the woman of the family driving the Jeep. In those early years, at least in my lifetime, 50’s -60’s, seldom if ever did I see a woman driving a Jeep.
anybody notice the scale? a family of half sized people? judging from the scale, those must be 44 in tires!
I think the scale was deliberate is a attempt to emphasize the Jeep, just as the Jeep is in color and the family is not. In the advertising business back then, this was common practice.
I don’t remember seeing this ad before either.
Reading this one makes me want to buy a Jeep!
