I just don’t get it how people disassemble something the just stop.
Thats just not me i guess.

My guess is that disassembly doesn’t cost anything and is pretty easy (and sort of satisfying). Rebuilding takes time, work, and money. For some I think it is just a lot more work than anticipated OR something unexpected happens and the project gets delayed (divorce, someone loses a job, a child arrives, etc).
