What’s the round access cover between the seats, behind the shifter bump?
I like the “4 WHEEL DRIVE” stencil on the tailgate. Nicely done overall …but a bit too “Blingy” for my taste in rugged offroad utility (chrome accents galore).

Good question. It’s the Master Cylinder access plate. Remove that and it is somewhat easier to access/refill the master cylinder: https://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/master-cylinder-access-bubba-was-here_topic41830.html

The master cylinder access is the one on the floor. I’m asking about the one between the front seats… did someone add a transfer case access panel to this CJ3B?
Joe, my bad. That may have been a hole for the PTO lever(s). According to Derek, “1953 and early 1954 models had a standard square cutout in the floor between the seats for the PTO lever, covered by a plate if no PTO was installed.” (https://cj3b.info/Dating/Dating1.html)
Nice 3B, but would hate to grab that passenger handle in the middle of an Arizona summer.
i think the round master cylinder access plate is the same part as the rear pto cover plate on a model 18 dana transfer case . .
