heres the history of land rover — they ripped off willys jeep for the design ( ala china ) and went with it — my old girlfriend had a land rover discovery , they ripped off buick for the 215 aluminum v-8 — the parts for that overweight tank were astronomically EXPENSIVE !! — well she did own a fancy english pub , so it was like the company car – she had 2 jeep small cherokees previously …
