Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(05/02/2022) Listed as a 1944, this appears to be a 2A based solely on the transmission cross member sitting in the back of the jeep. This also has an extended rear, which isn’t seen often on a 2A. It might make an interesting project.

This includes a Sears soft top with a sun-see-through feature, a bed extender, and some Dualmatic hubs with the stickers still visible. It may be worth a look.

“1955 CJ5 Jeep Project – comes with Ford 302 engine and a new and unused canvas top. As is Where is with no Warrantees. $5000 OBO. Ford engine when purchased was said to have less than 30,000 miles on it. 3 speed 4×4. Will not deliver.”
This needs some work, but appears to have the original Buick V6 that was first introduced in 1965 to the CJ-5.

This war machine ain’t perfect so don’t start belly aching to me, take it up with Uncle Sam who originally commissioned it. It fires up on revelry command and never leaves a man behind.
