    Since the active fighting portion of WW2 ended quickly for the Dutch they didn’t have much practical wartime testing of this system, I imagine. Perhaps in some German archive there’s some detailed reports on this captured equipment, if they had time to file them between retreating from the Russians and freezing to death.

    Looks related to the Mercedes-Benz W31 type G4, only 57 made.
    Made famous in the opening credits of the sit-com “Hogans Heroes”.
    Oh yeah, and Hitler had one too. 😉

    i dont always pull a howitzer. but when i do i wear a sport coat and tie. interesting that while American isolationist thinking was saying not my problem, others were preparing for the clouds of war.

    I didn’t realize until just now that the auto correct changed Trado to Trade in the header. It took me three tries just now to force the software to let me spell it as Trado. Gotta love tech …
