1960 Willys Jeep Wagon $15,000 Chepachet, RI
Andy’s Picks > this was sent over by Andy it’s posted as a 1960, the roof line supports that I feel. The rounded wheel arches on the deliveries are always neat to see. The livery is USPS and it looks like they are had / are having a fun time with the build on this one.
Something different, maybe pair it up with an FJ and DJ and have the full set!

Some years back posted on EWILLYS was a story about a Willys Delivery owner such as this, that was approached by a film maker, and asked if he was interested in having his vehicle in a feature film. He agreed, and as part of the agreement, The Willys would be painted in Post Office colors. To overcome one small detail, post office vehicles were right hand drive, this one is left hand drive. (easy to flip scene by computer or flipping negative)
Back in NJ, (1990’s) High Point Chevrolet had a Willys Wagon right hand drive, and used by a rural mail carrier in Sussex County, NJ, sold new By Mills Garage, Augusta, NJ.
Another Post Office repainted Willys resided in Lodi, NJ, a Left hand drive Fleetvan, that sat in a backyard for many years, and was in need of a paint job, so timing on this one was just right.
Very cool history. I recall parts hunting in HS up that way kinda, it was an area where you could stop in and folks would give you leads to where some more parts would be or full vehicles.
