I owned a DJ3A back in the early 1960’s, I was only 14 years when I took on a burned out Chicken Delight CJ3A, quite an ambitious project for a 14 year old. It amazed all the salesmen at Mide Motors in Garfield NJ that such a young kid would want to do this.
Silvio Petrucci, one of the sales men was so impressed, he delivered to my house across the river in Clifton. Miss those days, to be young and ambitious, with life ahead of me, there was nothing I couldn’t do, now at 75, I look back at young life with fond memories.
