Neat piece of Willys History here, might not be $50 cool it’s a re-pop book so it says, but overall the sticker from The Jeepsterman is really the selling point here for me. It was before my time but I have heard so many good stories about Morris and his Willys knowledge and parts operation, he really knew these parts and pieces in and out and you better have a part number for what you wanted was the take away I always heard. Mixed reviews on Customer Service skills, but I know 2 really good friends who always had great experience getting materials and parts from him. My Wagon has some parts from him when the PO built it out in early 90’s

Morris Ratner was somewhat cantankerous to deal with, great guy, very knowledgeable about Willys Jeep but you needed to deal on his level, short fuse, just the way he was. Now his daughter Shelley was a different story, very helpful and had what we might say, better custom relation skills than her father.
Morris saved everything, my rear corner bumpers on my 62 wagon were bought there NOS in the late 90’s, along with many odds and ends for my jeeps.
Some of the other old guys who sold Willys Jeep parts in the old days, Richard Rowett in Franklin twp. NJ,
John VanDine, Paramus, NJ, all these guys were somewhat cranky, but once you got to know them, you realized that was just their personality, and a good repour developed.
