Moving Week

Not a ton of posts this week, but we have been super busy in our move of the Willys Engines from one of our older locations to the new building.

Most of these are 230_OHC Tornado cores, some associated parts and pieces, a 226 mixed in and also a F-134 that was some sort of a pump.

So just wanted to pass that on we are here just super busy getting this building closed down and moved over.

If you visit OWF and want more of the back story search up “Tornado Warning” as a post title and should pop up the thread of the 230’s. I boxed them all.up a few year ago which was a good move to keep the space looking nice and all the parts for each engine together.

Hope everyone is doing well and the start of 2026 has been a good one!

Moved 7, have about 5 more to move today hopefully.

It was an investment for sure, I figured would pay off in that it would keep critters out better then just sitting open. Plus it hid them in plain sight pretty well.

Today I moved the last 5 crates, one of the M715 230’s came loose and tipped in the crate.

Since it was surrounded by the very heavy cardboard it stayed in/on the crate, I’ve had one come loose and knocked another over one time, not fun.

I had donated all 24V parts to folks a few years back in the Military Rig world, so of course it had no distributor in it and oil spilled out but the design of these plastic skids it did not leak a drop in the box truck, was able to right it and drain all the oil from the skid, it soaked the cardboard a bit.

But it’s stuff like that, where these crazy ideas pay off and I say told you so to myself. It adds a ton of room required to store them, an engine will fit and can be stored on a furniture dolly. They are super useful, but its harder to keep them safe that way. This worked for me, budget and space not for everyone.
