| I have a 1950’s Willy’s jeep project, that needs a full restoration. It looks like it was a military jeep and then lived out it’s life at the tonkawa fire department. Was bought at an auction around 2004/2005. And then it sat. Has a 4 cylinder engine. Engine is locked up and will need to be rebuilt or replaced. Have not looked at the transmission, but will probably need some work too. Started on it but it’s a bit above my skill level. Everything is there. Price is OBO. I don’t have the title for it. |

Looks like a marine variant with lifting clevis mounted on the side of the rear bumper.
still has 24v genny and VR, too bad we cannot read the dash data plates.
add: i believe the marine corps variants may have powr-loc LS diffs. Bonus.
I bought it. I was early army contract then passed off to marines. It’s in my garage getting torn down to do a frame off restoration.
