| This is a real 1953 CJ3a that underwent a nut and bolt restoration back in the late 90s. It had about 5 miles put on it and was parked in a dry barn until I purchased it recently. This is not a military jeep is was purchased and used as a farm jeep and has PTO. I will update new photos as I take them. We have washed it and cleaned it up. I installed a new fuel tank and fuel pump, coil and distributor guts. I could not find a person to rebuild the starter so it will come with the floor pedal starter but I have a new $400 mini starter installed. Runs and drives amazingly. Needs paint. Originally was a blue jeep. Will NOT sell just the PTO on the transfer case. Don’t ask. I am looking for a samari based buggy or similar and will trade. I plan to take this to Utah to Off-road Games if it hasn’t sold so I can deliver it if you are along the way out there. We are leaving NC on 3-15. NO RUST NONE, no patch panels. Smaller than my side by side. Everything is new including the flat head. |
