| 1946 Jeep CJ2A runs and drives great! It has the original go devil 134 engine and three speed transmission. It does not smoke or burn oil, it is a good healthy, strong engine. This is a project I’ve been working on the last couple of years. I’ve gone through the body completely, it has all new paint. My goal was never to make it completely perfect but to have a good representation of a 1946 Jeep. It could use a few odds and ends if you were wanting to really bring it up to total restoration quality. It needs nothing the way that it sits. I made a list of some of the repairs in new parts that are on it. I also have some of the old parts that go with it like the original 6 V generator, original windshield wiper , original heaters that go under the dash, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I went through the transmission and transfer case last summer. I ended up replacing about 90% of the gears, all of the bearings and synchronizers, they are mostly new parts inside. I am not interested in lowball offers or trades. If you’re looking for an old jeep, this one is solid.
