1949 Willys Jeep CJ-2A$5,800 Cascade, IA
There is a ’46 mixed in the photos as well, not listed from what I see but never know.
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
This is an original 1949 Willys Jeep. It has original body and drivetrain. Engine runs nice. Has been converted to 12v system with alternator and newer battery. The distributor has also been upgraded to a Petronix electronic ignition.Fuel system has newer fuel tank and I put on a new fuel pump last year. This will need a complete exhaust system as the engine is currently running just a short pipe coming out of the exhaust manifold.
The transfer case was completely overhauled by the previous owner before I bought the Jeep. There was also a full disc brake conversation done by the previous owner with Geo Metro disc brakes on the front and rear axle. This is an upgrade that is very popular with older Jeeps.
There is also a rear passenger seat which is not usually found on these older Jeeps. A nice front tow bar is also attached to the front bumper. The tires are decent and all match on original 16in rims.
The Jeep has a good clear title.
I have owned the Jeep for almost two years. I have only driven it in the field to test all the drivetrain and brakes. I am battling health issues and it is now very difficult for me to get in and out of the Jeep. This would make someone a really good, original off road vehicle to enjoy Willys Jeep events.

Yep. I’ll go Sesame Street & say, photo #5 is not like the others. Lotsa miles on those pedal pimples too.
Yes…..this is the listing for one of the Jeeps that I am selling. Just realized in my old guy challenged photo upload that I included the picture of the blue Jeep that I have. It is all original with an original PTO setup.
Also in the background is my Empire tractor project that also needs to go to a new home.
Inside the green building are pallet racks full of the parts and pieces I have accumulated since 2013. I am working right with a buyer to take the entire lot of parts.
My Willys journey began right here on ewillys back in 2013 when I found an original CJ3B in Wyoming. This website and the Willys Jeep community has been really enjoyable over the years.
Just turning 80yrs old and battling advanced prostate cancer and significant lower back and spine issues, I have to make some tough downsizing decisions.
Stay tuned ……and most importantly…..have fun.

We wish you the best and hope you find a good home for the Jeeps but more importantly will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for positive outcomes with your health issues. Thank you for all the support on eWillys over the years I know Dave always appreciated the folks and enjoyed the site as a lot of us have.
If you need anything posted up you can send me an email at post@ewillys.com Thanks, Tim
