Happy New Year!

Look Back at a Great 2025 and look forward Welcome in 2026!

Wishing you and your families a Happy New Year!

Thank you for all the support this past year, we started off with a huge lift to transfer to site to the new hosting platform and the folks from NetFire really did a great job to get us over to a new server and backend system that is just first class.

I’m very happy with the site and what we have been able to bring forward.

There are some really big things in the works for closer to mid-2026 that on more in the physical world than on the site, but it will be great to share those with the Willys world as they come online. There is a lot going on behind the scenes construction wise to really provide a neat place for Willys living history with some cool hands-on experiences.

Thank you again for the support and hanging in there with us!

Happy New Year’s to everyone!

Thanks,

Tim

Here are some 2025 Highlights!

The Great Willys Picnic….

Spring time drives in Willa Dean, always fun,

M&M May Motor Madness Show in May…

Looking forward to 2026!

1951 Willys Wagon 2WD Street Rod $18,500 Willys America

This looks really solid, has some upticks in the driveline which would make this one a really nice driver. If you wanted to get into a nice Wagon that you still can do some small projects to make this your own, I think it’s a great one to take a look at.

This has the early body with the rounded wheel wells, it still maintains pretty stock interior touches.

Gauges look good, seats are legit looking.

  • 1951 Station Wagon 2-WD street rod
  • Price reduced to $18,500
  • Chevy V-8
  • Automatic transmission
  • Ford 8″ differential

1961 Willys Wagon $2,000 Minco, OK

My guess is 1961, Not a ’53, has low roof so that’s at least a ‘59, single windshield pushes that to ’60 (some 2WD got the large windshield in ’59, but trim is different for ‘59), hockey stick trim back to at least ‘60.

Looks 4WD so will go with ’61 for no good reason other then that’s my guess.

More pictures would ruin the fun here.

Information from seller:

I believe it is a ’53 Bill of sale complete does not run Looks to be complete

1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2A $1,000 Oklahoma City, OK

I’m going ’47 CJ-2A, but happy to update this to what others think this is.

Re-powered, front frame looks to have some extras, but I feel it’s a CJ-2A, has a rear tire mount of sorts. Could just be a bunch of parts tossed together and just be a Willys Salad.

Information from seller:

I do not know the year. No there is no title. It is a project. Has motor and trans. I do not know if they work properly. All wheels roll. Will need restored. Can help load or deliver once looked at and paid.

1953 Willys Wagon $6,500 Grove, OK

Project, needs work. Sometimes you never know what you have here to work with.

Parkway Conversion, fixed rear side panel glass with the Barn Doors, they would cut out the flat panels and put in glass to get around the restrictions on the “Parkways” that did not allow “Trucks” on them. I know that still is a NY thing, but I don’t know if any other areas of the country would have that restrictions?

Either way they are pretty neat.

Information from seller:

Super clean 1953 Willy’s Wagon 2wd, it does have a ‘92 dodge magnum V-6 with automatic transmission (Does Not Run)supposedly just needs fuel pump, exhaust, battery and brakes Asking $6,500 or trade for running off-road vehicle let me see what you got … I’d also possibly trade for a side-by-side

Seller is at 1950-1953 and that’s not correct, unless the title says so then it is “exactly” what the title says do the paperwork make it yours then figure it out later.

I’m at ’57 due to the symmetrical grill bars, fresh air grill, early 0-9 gauge (was only mid-‘56 to ’57 for this gauge face). I was actually able to find very limited later ’56 with the iconic ‘56 offset grill bars and the fresh air grill, one example was S/N 29290 which  lines up with the ’56 Serial number range, has the offset grill, but has the fresh air hole, there are some others, who knows really, stuff could be added or changed. But I found a couple other examples of Wagons that looked very original and had the same set up, unfortunately they did not post S/N of those rigs.

This is a cool rig, worth a look and toss an offer out to them, bring your tow rig and trailer and go home with some old Iron.

Information from seller:

I believe it is more than likely a Willys 150 Pickup Truck 1/2 ton approx. 1950–1953. but I’m not sure, it’s definitely for a collector to rebuild as they see fit. Motor is no good not sure about the transmission. Asking for an offer. I had to put “used – fair” because they don’t give any other option.

Here is that S/N 29290 Example, was sold at Auction in 2022, cant find a lot of pictures like the interior shots.

M-38A1 $7,500 Altus, OK

Happy to dial the year in if you have some thought on that.

The description of this is like a huge red flag, maybe it was AI generated who knows, but its nothing of those things for sure. To me this is a very straight forwards M-38A1.

The outlet on the dash is not and Arc Fault or GFCI so I think now a days its not going to fly, but its super period correct for the size and cover plate!

The winch is pretty serious on this one.

It’s a cool rig if its real, price is way up there as well, but its fun to post some of these to show the old iron. Do your homework prior to looking this one over.

Information from seller:

Early civilian Willys Jeep (CJ-2A or CJ-3A, late 1940s) barn-find project. This is a real steel, original Jeep, not a later CJ-5 and not a reproduction tub. ✔ Original flat-fender body ✔ L-head “Go-Devil” 4-cylinder engine ✔ Original drivetrain present ✔ Factory PTO winch (very desirable) ✔ Mostly complete ✔ Frame appears straight ✔ Stored indoors for years Jeep is not currently running and will need full recommissioning or restoration. Shows age, dust, and surface rust consistent with a barn find, but this is an excellent candidate for restoration or preservation. Hard to find early Willys Jeeps like this, especially with a PTO winch. These are going up in value and are popular with collectors and restorers. Sold as-is, where-is. Located in SW Oklahoma. Serious inquiries only — no trades, no tire kickers.
