INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
Disassembled 1946 Willys Jeep project includes a completely rebuilt motor from Midwestern Motor Rebuilders and a new transmission and transfer case. Every component has been cleaned, with nuts and bolts sanded and painted alongside brake hubs and accessories. The front and rear differentials are in good condition. The listing includes new tires and all original parts from the teardown. The original green metal body is included but requires replacement; new primer bodies are available through third-party suppliers.all parts available through Kaiser Willys jeep parts. Notice the gas filler tube opening on the passenger side.
And on the driver side also. But this one on the pass side looks scabbed in and at a strange location. I’n not sure how far back, but you could special order dual gas tanks installed at the factory for extra capacity (farm use etc). When AMC moved the tank to the rear in 1970 you could get and extra cap tank under the dr seat.
