About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

very solid Kaiser built CJ-5 restoration project, V-6 Dauntless (Buick) engine in running condition, working snowplow, excellent tires, transmission and clutch in working order, new fuel pump and filter, I flushed the fuel tank and lines which are very clean and rust free, recent oil change, other than surface rust there is no rust rot on the vehicle, floor is solid, it runs and drives, doesn’t smoke, all the lights work, there was a title which was lost, but it was signed in the wrong places by the previous owner… it also needs a battery, the emission air pump is seized and disconnected, the drive train is in solid condition, brakes work, it was purchased new in Steamboat Springs, lifelong Colorado vehicle and sat in a field for a few years when the fuel pump went out, the odometer reads 05336, so I assume it’s rolled over, a great candidate for restoring though it wouldn’t take much to get it in basic working condition and plow your drive. call or Email questions and contact info, consider certain motorcycles or car hauling trailer in trade

Known Minor Issues:
– Small oil leak at the oil drain plug.

Selling my late father’s 1947 Willys CJ-2A project. This is the first civilian Jeep ever made after WWII – the iconic flat-fender that launched the Jeep legacy. It’s been sitting since he passed, and I want it to go to someone who appreciates these early Willys models.

This example is incredibly solid with zero rust anywhere to be found. It still features the original “go devil“ four-cylinder engine. three speed with overdrive manual. Unknown actual miles. Listed number is a placeholder.
If you are looking for a rare and unusual classic vehicle, this is the one for you.
New battery. New water pump. Rebuilt steering box. Rebuilt front suspension. Spotlight. Could use a tuneup, but runs and drives fine.
Not a perfect Jeep, with some chips in the paint here and there and imperfections. But you can drive it and enjoy it and it looks pretty good.
It’s very hard to find these, especially with the original drive train. People often swap out the original drivetrain for modern engines.
