July 2025 Update
Welcome to our July 2025 Update. June was a good month lots of great events and meet ups in the Willys world. Was able to connect with quite a few people in June. I officially surpassed my 500th post here on eWillys. I know its not the volume that Dave was able to post, but I’m super happy with the site and how things are going.
I got to get over to NetFire and meet the developers who helped save eWillys, they are a great bunch of folks, very talented and hard working. They put on a cook out with some burgers, steaks, drinks after work one Friday, it was awesome. I really apricate everything they have been able to help us with.
If you are in need of an IT solution or have a project in mind, not just Website related, they provide all sorts of IT management and solutions to everyday problems, security, storage, something small, an app just toss it at them the worst they say is no. But they are a very capable company and they do great work. Tell them eWillys sent you!
July was a blur like most months with the 4th festivities well in the rear view mirror, hopefully if you have a running and driving rig your able to get out some and enjoy it. If your still working on your project, keep plugging away, its hard in the winter when cold, and hard in the summer heat, but one step at a time.
Not too many events turned in, I have posted up the one in PA at AAOP that looks like a nice event. So please check the details out in the side bar it’s linked.
If you would like me to toss up some other events please let me know post@ewillys.com
I was able to take a look at a really neat collection early July; ’42 MB, ’46 CJ2A, and ’64 Stainless Body CJ5. They were really cool rigs they eventually will be looking for a new caretaker for these. Going to be working on some comps and the sort for these, so if you wanted to assist in any valuations let me know. I will be reaching out to a few folks on some of details.
Lot’s going on outside of the Willys World, all good things. In addition to the website we do have a building that we have; eventually we will have more to share on that. It needs some work and we have not really started on it yet, but with some planning and figuring out it will be a fun place and informative for some vintage Willys education purposes. The 230_OHC Tornado collection will reside there along with almost one of each type of Willys engines, I don’t have a F161, but I did see one pop up not too far away from me, I don’t have the time to go get it and its not going to come to me so that will have to wait.
If anyone wants to share anything please let me know.
Get out and enjoy the Summer if you can with some Willys friends.
Hope all is well with everyone.
Thanks for your continued support.
