| 1962 M151A1/A2 Project
This was a project started by a guy who went by the ID of Hummerkiller some time ago. It is an uncut 1962 body which he removed the front and rear suspension and put a Jeep solid axel in the rear. It is a body with a hood, windshield, 4 wheels, 2 bumperettes, large reinforced front bumper and pintel hook. He acquired a set of A2 front fender dished out pieces and welded them to the front fenders. So it looks like an A2 Jeep from the front. I have bought a front suspension and a rear A2 suspension. I have put the front suspension back on it so it can be moved. He cut out and replaced the floor on the passenger side with 1/8 steel. I have collected a whole bunch of parts, and it would make an almost complete Jeep. It has a ROPS installed. All the parts are used and there is no warranty on them. My cost for everything I have gathered is around $3,000 so that is price. I will not separate out parts it is a package deal. Here is a list of what is included: Complete engine with carb, starter, alternator, clutch and distributor with Ing wires. The engine spins but has not been started. Two NOS engine mounts, bottom half of the transmission mounts NOS. |
