This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “MUST SELL: 1942 4×4 Willy’s Jeep Has Small Block chevy, 4 speed transmission. “NEW’ Suspension seats, Brakes all around, Edelbrock carburetor, Edlebrock intake, HEI distributer, plugs and wires, exhaust manifolds. The paint is in excellent condition and the body is straight and rust free.
This jeep was a project my husband was working on. Due to his passing it remains unfinished. It needs a few additional things done. I know it runs well.

The staff at Bo’s Hotrods in Sanford, NC, just finished work on Jim’s restored CJ-2A. It looks like they do some good work. The jeep will now head to Maine where it will enjoy life in the country.
Here are some ‘before’ pics. As you can see, it appears it was thoroughly rebuilt.

Jeep just announced their Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition. This is supposed to harken back to (or at least celebrate) the simplicity of the original civilian jeeps: the CJ-2A. When I look at it, I don’t see “2A”. However, I like the WILLYS sticker on the hood. Here are a couple links to more information:
