“You have got to see this one of a kind vehicle in person to really appreciate the quality of workmanship that makes this a Must Have vehicle for a car collector. This Overland Utility Wagon has High/Low 4 wheel drive with 3 speed manual transmission. It has plenty of power with a Buick V6 and the interior finish is superb. This one won’t last long!

Here’s a photo of Hugh’s CJ-2As from this past weekend. He was having so much fun in the 2A on the right that he ran out of gas :-).

He reports, “Spent the weekend driving my jeeps around.  put new springs, shocks and hardware on the 47 on the left then added a set of sta super traxion tires. Then i went and got em muddy.   I ran out of gas driving the od 47 jeep on the right.”

Photo of 150,000th Jeep Produced on eBay

• CATEGORIES: Features, Old Images This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Marc spotted this photo. The caption indicates this was the 150th jeep, but the details on the reverse side of the photo confirm it was the 150,000th jeep, which makes more sense.

“You are bidding on an original 6 x 8 press photo of Cornersville IN Eleanor Ferreri Christens 150th Jeep Body at American Central Plant. Photographer Unknown. Dated 7/1/1943. The following stamps are on the back of the photo: NEA;ACME”

FJ-3 & FJ-3A Booklets on eBay

• CATEGORIES: Books, FJ This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Ted’s got a few FJ items for sale:

1) 1962 FJ-3A Booklet

“Up for auction is a very nice, original Willys Motors Chassis and Body Parts list for the Jeep FJ 3A Fleet van. This is NOT A REPRODUCTION. It has a copyright of 1962 and form number of W1141. I’m guessing it’s a first edition as it is not marked otherwise. The list has complete Willys original part numbers for every part covered, making this a very essential piece of Willys literature to anyone restoring or doing a project on one of the rarer Jeep models, the FJ3A Fleetvan.

Overall the condition is very good to excellent. The outer covers show the usual wear of something 50+ years old, with no major damage. The inner pages are all intact, with no staining or damage, and I would consider them to be in excellent condition.”
