Howe FireTruck Article in Collectible Automobile Magazine eBay

• CATEGORIES: Fire/Police/Industry Vehicles, Magazine, Old News Articles This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

This might be a good article. I tried to find the article online, but didn’t have any luck.

“This is an original magazine article carefully removed from COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE magazine. This is a high quality production with high quality paper, without advertising. If you are familiar with this magazine, then you know its quality is considered the best in the industry. This is a 3, 4 or 5 page article under the heading of Collectible Commercial Vehicles.

To determine the approximate length of the article, look at the above photo. If you see 2 sheets it is probably 3 pages long. If you see 3 sheets, it will be probably be 4 pages or maybe 5 pages, and so forth..”

Paper Jeeps Maquettes-Papier

• CATEGORIES: Artists/Drawings, Features • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

After the papercraft jeep post, I stumpled upon a french website called maquettes-papier that had several different paper jeeps.  Unfortunately, my French is a little weak.  I believe the jeep below was built from some plans and the jeep below that was custom made.

The two 1948 jeeps run and drive ok.  This might be worth a look.

“FOR SALE- JEEP COLLECTORS JACKPOT:

2) 1948 cj2a Willys jeep with stock running gear and clean title. Starts, runs, drives but also needs some TLC. The body tub has been redone in diamond plate. Needs front fenders.

3) 1946 cj2a Willys jeep with no title.(lost it in the fire and it was never in my name) Stock axles, transmission, and transfer case. It has a Buick 231 3.8L v6, 2 1/2″ suspension lift, 2″ body lift, and 36×12.50 tires on 15″ aluminum wheels. Body is really nice, jeep is not finished and hasn’t been run for a long time. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.

This will need some work, but the driver’s side cab looks pretty good.

“well, its a 57 jeep forward control 150, its the first year they made em, iv had this for a couple of years now, was going to be a project but i never got around to it, and now im moving to the city where i cannot have it. the guy i got from had just rebuilt the t-90 transmission and never put it back in and neither did i. its been converted over from the inline four it came with to a small block chevy v8, its a 265 cubic inch small block thats suposedly out of a 55 bel air. but iv never looked up the numbers to verify. the transmission has the adapter to fit the chevy bellhousing so it should bolt right up, i just never got around to it. iv not had to motor running but the guy i got it from said it ran when he started rebuilding the transmission and i know its not seized up. the tires that are on it are ruined from weather cracking, they look good in the pic but trust me theyre not. that pretty much sums it up. im asking $1000 obo”
