“Barn find, project jeep. Very restorable body, nice windshield, engine needs replace or rebuild.
Email for more pics.”
No pics provided. If you like the Aluminum V-8s, here are a bunch of parts.
“3 engines from early 60’s Buick and Olds cars. 1 Buick the other 2 are Oldsmobile. Aluminum block and heads, 215 c.i. V-8. Weigh around 300 lbs ready to run. Perfect for MG rat rod or hot rod project. One of the olds engines was in a Willys jeep truck and will be very easy to get going the other two will take a little more. I have the bell housing, flywheel and clutch for a 4 speed set up and a flexplate for an automatic. CALL Mark @ 303-378-0261 for more info. I am selling this all together, I dont want to split it up. Price lowered to $500 cash for everything.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
(09/17/09) This looks more like a MB body. And, it looks like a pretty good price given the winch, rollcage, and overdrive.
“1948 Jeep CJ2A, $3000.00 or Best Offer, 4-cyl F-Head, 3-speed trans w/OD, 8000 # Warn winch w/ remote, Tube bumpers front & rear, Chevrolet tilt wheel, 31 inch tires.”

“I got a 47 willys with an 83 toyota drivetrain. The motor runs good but needs work on throttle cable and frame has some rust spots. The willys is sitting on 38.5 gumbo mudders tires alone are worth 600. I need money for new vehicle blew my motor in my truck thats the only reason for selling my toy.”
There may be some value here.
“1946 CJ2A. Title has been lost, but bill of sale will be provided. The Jeep appears to be complete except for windsheild, tailgate, and air cleaner assy. 2 inward facing rear seats with grab handles. Roll bar. Tow bar is attached, but welds need to be redone. All running gear appears to be stock. Engine will turn over by hand. Have not put a battery in it to check electrical system. Transmission shifter not not seem to change gears, so it will need some attention. Body is in great shape without any major dents and very little rust. I do not believe there is any rust through. This one would make a great restoration project, deer lease, or farm truck. I can get more pictures within a few days upon request. Need cash more than trades, and all reasonable offers will be considered.”
The body looks good.
“Good project car for restoration or hot rod. Includes: Front and rear bumpers, front and rear valvance’s, 2 sets of steps, seats and frames, convertible top frame. Nothing else.
I also have some other 1949 Jeepster parts. I have an extra tub, 2 frames, seats and frames, 2 hoods, 1953 Studebaker big block (not running), 350 small block and transmission (runs and is still in 1989 Chev. Conversion Van).
Buy it all for $3000.00, and I’ll throw in the van (no title)”
No reserve auction.
“I believe this is a 1946 Jeep, no title, plates. carburetor and starter. I parked. this car a few years ago. It was running. Present condition unknown. I took carburetors off to get it rebuilt and it was lost. Do not have time to redo it…it is a nice project. SOLD AS IS…WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET…NO RESERVE other Jeep on pictures also for sale, trailer it is a 1946, also for sale , make me an offer”
It’s in good shape, but isn’t quite road worthy.
“1949 Willys CJ2A in good shape ready for the right person who can appreciate a classic. Frame is solid, engine and drivetrain in great shape, body is in good shape, could be road worthy for short money. I’m asking $2,200 and worth every penny! However, I will entertain offers.”
Here’s another car-on-jeep-frame experiment.
