This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/31/2015) Has a rear PTO. The top is interesting with the short windows in the doors.
“Buy a Willys, sell a Willys. Been looking for a little CJ2A, couldn’t find one exactly like I wanted, bought this one about a month ago, drove down last weekend and picked it up south of Livingston, this morning one showed up about 5 miles from my house so I went and bought it. It’s more what I want but of course was also more money. Need to sell this one.

New front bumper, springs, headlights, turn signals, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, carb, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel gauge, exhaust, wheel bearings, shocks, marine radio and speakers. Converted to 12 volt including new alternator, new ignition and wiring. Steering box rebuilt. Battleship grey with triple grey camo.”

“1961 jeep willy’s Run’s and drives no 3rd gear the person I bought the Jeep from said everything work so don’t know if it’s due to sitting for a long period of time if the synchronizer bad in the transmission or not but the PTO works in 3rd gear, body is rough great project or parts Jeep standard transmission PTO on the rear.”
